Difference?

BB Cream Vs. CC Cream

Many people have been asking me

What is the difference between BB Cream and CC Cream?”
Or
“Which one is better?”

BB Cream – “BB” stands for Blemish Balm and was first created for blemished skin. It was formulated to help heal acne-prone skin and at the same time create flawless healthy looking skin. BB Cream has a greyish tone, why is that? Blemishes are usually red (warm tone) and with a greyish tone (cool tone), it neutralizes the colour making it seem more natural looking. (Example: Dark Circles: In order to cover up your dark circles (cool tone) you would need a concealer that has a warm tone to it, preferably an orangey tone to help neutralizing the colour.) BB Cream’s Sun Protection Factor ranges from SPF 20+ to SPF 50+. It also has an anti-aging

CC Cream – “CC” stands for Colour Control and its main function is to blend naturally with your skin tone and gives it a brighter youthful look. CC Cream has more of a warmer tone and has a better coverage than BB Cream especially its more effective than BB Cream when it comes to hiding dark circles. It has brightening, anti-wrinkle and SPF effect. CC Cream’s Sun Protection Factor Ranges from SPF 30+ to SPF 50+. CC Cream is more moisturizing and helps improve uneven skin tone. In summary CC cream is an upgraded version of BB Cream.

In my opinion I personally like CC Cream more than BB Cream. CC blends naturally to match my skin tone and also it gives a natural glow to my face. In the following pictures below, I am using FACE it BB cream: Power Perfection in one of the picture and in the other I am using FACE it CC Cream Aura. When comparing the two, BB cream doesn't brighten as much as CC cream. Another example would be my dark circles. BB Cream does its job covering my eye bags however when you compare it to CC Cream, CC Cream does a better job.

Can you tell which picture I am using BB cream or CC cream?
Left or Right?

Note: I used half of my face the show the best results of each cream so you can compare.

*Excuse the rawness of my face* Did not add any effects to show the best results, only sharpened the picture to see the results better.

Trivia:

Can you tell which one is BB cream and which one is CC cream?

Benetint

Say What?!

Apparently Benefit Rosy lip and cheek stain (Benetint) in the 70s it was originally made for exotic dancer who needed to heighten her nipples. SAY WHAT?! WHY in the world do you need to enhance your nipples?! When I read this I was mind blown. Not sure if I want to use it anymore. Haha just kidding.

So I found this at http://www.cosmopolitan.com/hairstyles-beauty/beauty-blog/benefit-lip-cheek-stain-040711 and I thought it was interesting enough to share this weird knowledge with you guys~

Hope you guys found this amusing J

My Remedy

Throat Infection 101

Lately I have been getting throat infection…not a good sign. This means that I haven’t been eating healthy meals and lack of sleep. Exams happens all these random sickness comes along and accompanies me~

Yesterday, I woke up feeling the right side of my throat was inflamed…worried that I will have another throat infection so I decided to try an experiment.

I took 2 tablets of USANA Proflavanol C aka Vitamin C. Drank lots of water throughout the day. Around 10pm last night I drank a large cup of green tea
(no sugar or milk)

Before I went to bed, I took another 2 tablets of Vitamin C…

TA-DA~~ Next morning (today), woke up and it was almost gone. I can still kind of feel a little bit but it works like magic!
Preventions:

- Vitamin C – 4 tablets a day (USANA Proflavanol C)
-    NO SUGAR* or MILK*
-  Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
-   Drink Green Tea**

*Sugar and Milk, allows the bacteria to feed on, instead of getting better it actually makes it worse because it increases mucus production.*

**Green tea contains strong anti-oxidants. Catechins are strong antibacterial and antiviral.**

Note: It may be different for everyone -

TheFaceShop; White Mud Nose Pack (Peel off)

Hi everyone~
Today I will be doing a review on The Face Shop:
Volcanic White Mud Nose Pack (Peel-off).

The Face Shop is a skincare/ cosmetic company that focuses more on bringing the essence of nature to your skin. Their products are nature oriented. Their brand story is that they understand the value of healthy.

Its use:

-      ~    Use for nose
-      ~   Removes white heads
How to use:

1.      Squeeze about the size of the tip of your ring finger on to your ring finger and middle finger.

2.      Apply a thin layer just enough to cover your nose pores.

3.      Wait about 10-15 minutes until it hardens

4.      This part hurts the most: Pull on the right side of your nose strip upwards, same for the other side.

**  Upward motion: defies gravity, so the pull would be stronger, and the white heads would come out more.

5.      Apply cool water onto your nose to minimize your nose pores.

6.      Finish it with toner to help minimize your pores. **Important**

Review:
-          This is one of my favourite pore removal items. The mud is thick and sticky.

-     It removes my whiteheads really well compare to the pore strips where it comes in shapes of your nose. This is probably because my nose is smaller than average and the pore strips are made for bigger noses. **Smaller than average problem ): **

-     The mud is liquid, so it is easier to shape around my nose.

-     Please note that when you peel it off, it does kind of hurt.

As you can tell through the before picture, it shows on the right side a lot of black and white heads are shown

TA-DA (: After 15 minutes all those are gone! *Magic ;) *

Wet

Dry

I find it so fascinated looking at my white and black heads but at the same time it’s so gross… o.o

Hope you guys find this review helpful~
