Difference?

BB Cream Vs. CC Cream

Many people have been asking me

What is the difference between BB Cream and CC Cream?”
Or
“Which one is better?”

BB Cream – “BB” stands for Blemish Balm and was first created for blemished skin. It was formulated to help heal acne-prone skin and at the same time create flawless healthy looking skin. BB Cream has a greyish tone, why is that? Blemishes are usually red (warm tone) and with a greyish tone (cool tone), it neutralizes the colour making it seem more natural looking. (Example: Dark Circles: In order to cover up your dark circles (cool tone) you would need a concealer that has a warm tone to it, preferably an orangey tone to help neutralizing the colour.) BB Cream’s Sun Protection Factor ranges from SPF 20+ to SPF 50+. It also has an anti-aging

CC Cream – “CC” stands for Colour Control and its main function is to blend naturally with your skin tone and gives it a brighter youthful look. CC Cream has more of a warmer tone and has a better coverage than BB Cream especially its more effective than BB Cream when it comes to hiding dark circles. It has brightening, anti-wrinkle and SPF effect. CC Cream’s Sun Protection Factor Ranges from SPF 30+ to SPF 50+. CC Cream is more moisturizing and helps improve uneven skin tone. In summary CC cream is an upgraded version of BB Cream.

In my opinion I personally like CC Cream more than BB Cream. CC blends naturally to match my skin tone and also it gives a natural glow to my face. In the following pictures below, I am using FACE it BB cream: Power Perfection in one of the picture and in the other I am using FACE it CC Cream Aura. When comparing the two, BB cream doesn't brighten as much as CC cream. Another example would be my dark circles. BB Cream does its job covering my eye bags however when you compare it to CC Cream, CC Cream does a better job.

Can you tell which picture I am using BB cream or CC cream?
Left or Right?

Note: I used half of my face the show the best results of each cream so you can compare.

*Excuse the rawness of my face* Did not add any effects to show the best results, only sharpened the picture to see the results better.

Trivia:

Can you tell which one is BB cream and which one is CC cream?
