Laneige

Deep Cleansing Oil Moisture

I recently purchased Laneige Deep Cleansing Oil Moisture and I instantly fell in love with it. This cleansing oil mainly targets dry to normal skin types and it also gently removes makeup leaving your skin feeling hydrated and soft and smooth.

How to use:

1.        Pump about 3 times and gently apply it evenly on your face
2.      Massage it about 1 minute, allowing the makeup to melt
3.       Use lukewarm water to wash it off
4.   Then for a deep cleansing, use cleansing foam and gently massage your face.
5.       Wash off the cleansing foam and apply your daily skin routine

The date on the bottle is the manufacturing date: 2 years shelf life (not open)
Review:
-     I randomly get a bit dry patches around my cheeks, however after using the cleansing oil; it really helped moisturize my skin leaving my skin texture balanced.

-      It removes BB, CC, and foundation well.

-      Does not remove eye makeup well.

-   When applying the cleansing oil, you may use water or without water; depending on your own preference.

*Recommend for those who wear a lot of mascara/eye makeup, remove it first before using the cleansing oil.*

Clean Face

Acne Spot Treatment

So exams are around the corner…and I am sure that stress level is at 10000x. You know what that means? Acne tends come out and makes your life even more miserable than it should be. I bought this Clean Face Spot Treatment ($17.50 CAD tax not included) at TheFaceShop (Pacific mall location) a couple of weeks ago but I didn’t have the time to use it until now.

The Clean Face Spot Treatment contains tea tree oil and calamine powder. Tea tree oil contains natural antibacterial properties, so it helps with soothing and killing bacterial within your pimples. Calamine powder helps dry out your pimple and takes out the sebum

How to use:

1.        Use a q-tip and dip it all the way into the bottle. (Make sure it touches the bottom of the bottle)

2.       Apply it in the areas where you have pimple.

3.        Sleep with it and then next morning, wash it off.

*Do NOT shake the bottle. Even if you do by accident, let it sit and it will slowly separate back into two layers.*

*Recommended to use at night time, because that is when your skin rejuvenates and absorbs nutrients the best.*

Good luck on your exams~

TheFaceShop; White Mud Nose Pack (Peel off)

Hi everyone~
Today I will be doing a review on The Face Shop:
Volcanic White Mud Nose Pack (Peel-off).

The Face Shop is a skincare/ cosmetic company that focuses more on bringing the essence of nature to your skin. Their products are nature oriented. Their brand story is that they understand the value of healthy.

Its use:

-      ~    Use for nose
-      ~   Removes white heads
How to use:

1.      Squeeze about the size of the tip of your ring finger on to your ring finger and middle finger.

2.      Apply a thin layer just enough to cover your nose pores.

3.      Wait about 10-15 minutes until it hardens

4.      This part hurts the most: Pull on the right side of your nose strip upwards, same for the other side.

**  Upward motion: defies gravity, so the pull would be stronger, and the white heads would come out more.

5.      Apply cool water onto your nose to minimize your nose pores.

6.      Finish it with toner to help minimize your pores. **Important**

Review:
-          This is one of my favourite pore removal items. The mud is thick and sticky.

-     It removes my whiteheads really well compare to the pore strips where it comes in shapes of your nose. This is probably because my nose is smaller than average and the pore strips are made for bigger noses. **Smaller than average problem ): **

-     The mud is liquid, so it is easier to shape around my nose.

-     Please note that when you peel it off, it does kind of hurt.
-
      Rate: ♥♥♥♥ out of 5

As you can tell through the before picture, it shows on the right side a lot of black and white heads are shown

TA-DA (: After 15 minutes all those are gone! *Magic ;) *

Wet

Dry

I find it so fascinated looking at my white and black heads but at the same time it’s so gross… o.o

Hope you guys find this review helpful~

Grapes...Mmm..Good

 grapes

It's one of the best fruits in the world. I don't understand how people can create grape candy that is so far off from its original taste...making grapes seem unappealing.

Anyways I am going to give some FYI about grapes and their benefits to our skin:

1. Contains Vitamin B-6 (Thiamine); helps strengthen your immune system and brain development.

2. Contains Vitamin C: an antioxidant which helps with healing wounds.

3. The fresh parts of the grape and the extract of its seeds are powerful antioxidants. When applied on your skin, it helps protect your sink from UV radiations. Another way of saying this is it acts like sunscreen and help reduce the redness of sunburns and minimizes the damages of your skin.

4. Grape seed extract contains plentiful of Vitamin E, which helps soften your skin. The extract exfoliates your skin; removing the top layer of dead skin.

Hope you guys enjoy this~
